Projects vs CLAUDE Files vs Skills
These layers answer different questions.

A Claude Project can contain knowledge and project instructions. In Claude Code, a project is your working folder, and CLAUDE.md provides file-based instructions. The interfaces differ; both can supply context. Claude Projects.
Example: one launch
Keep the offer and customer research in a maintained source. Set a short rule to consult it before drafting. Use a copywriting Skill when creating the landing page.
You do not need to paste the entire offer into the Project instructions, CLAUDE.md, and Skill. That creates three versions to maintain.
Start with the missing piece
- Re-explaining the business? Add the relevant knowledge and standing instructions.
- Re-explaining a procedure? Create or improve a Skill.
- Getting stale answers? Fix the source and retrieval path.
